• To reserve a name with the Registraire des entreprises, in particular in order to constitute, continue, amalgamate or revive a Québec business corporation (for-profit legal person) or to modify the name of a business corporation already constituted.
• To reserve a name with the Registraire des entreprises in order to constitute or modify a Québec non-profit legal person.

We currently do not issue a research report with the name reservation confirmation. Consequently, only the confirmation will be sent to you.

Name reservation is a name prevalidation process. However, we can subsequently reject the name based on the information in the application. To facilitate the process, specify the nature and origin of the proposed name and give a summary description of the enterprise's activities.
