Purpose of the service To register or re-register an enterprise. The purpose of the declaration of registration is to make public information that is essential for dealings with individuals and enterprises.
Users Natural persons
Notes
  • An enterprise that is exempted from declaring an attorney under section 4 of the Regulation respecting the application of the Act respecting the legal publicity of enterprises must use form RE-201 to file a declaration of registration if it does not have an address in Québec to declare. Contact Us to obtain this form.
  • To avoid that the declaration of registration be entirely rejected because the name of an establishment was refused by the registrar, you must proceed in two steps:
    1. You must file a declaration of registration without declaring any establishments;
    2. Once the declaration of registration has been published in the enterprise register, you must file a current updating declaration to declare establishments.
