Services for Professionals

Professionals who offer enterprises consulting or support services and services related to the updating of information in the enterprise register and who submit a significant volume of applications each year may apply for authorization to file documents online on behalf of a third party by filing a Demande d’autorisation de transmission électronique de documents pour le compte d’un tiers (RE-131).

Conditions

To obtain an authorization to file documents online on behalf of a third party:

  • The applicant must have a clicSÉQUR express code, which is mailed to the applicant following its registration, or a clicSÉQUR – Enterprises code.
  • The applicant must have paid all amounts owed to the Registraire des enterprises (annual registration fee, late payment charges, etc.).
  • The applicant must be a lawyer, notary or trustee in bankruptcy and have intermediary status.
  • If the applicant is an enterprise,
    • it must be represented by a lawyer or notary,
    • it must justify its authorization by the activities it declared in the enterprise register,
    • it must provide the name and Québec enterprise number (NEQ) of 20 enterprises for which it sends documents.
  • The applicant must be registered in the enterprise register, and the registration must be up to date. The information declared in the register must describe the activities carried out as an intermediary.
  • The applicant must send the Registraire a large number of applications on a regular basis.

If all conditions are met, the Registraire will send applicants acting as intermediaries an authorization that includes their user code. The code can be used to access the section reserved for intermediaries on the Registraire’s website. To retain their authorization, applicants must continue to meet the conditions above.

Advantages

Authorized intermediaries can use My Office and access the Docuthèque – Intermédiaires section of the Registraire’s website. The Docuthèque is an essential tool that contains a wealth of information. Authorized intermediaries can also call to speak directly with our staff.

My Office

Intermediaries can access their clients’ files using My Office, by entering the Québec enterprise number (NEQ) of the enterprise for which they are submitting an application to the Registraire des entreprises.

Note
You must use the same identifiers to access My Office as a registrant and as an intermediary.

Docuthèque – Intermédiaires

This section of the Registraire des entreprises website is reserved for intermediaries who are authorized to file documents online on behalf of a third party and contains a wealth of useful information and documents.

To access this section, you will need to enter the user code that the Registraire des entreprises provided to you or to the professional that represents your enterprise. Note that the code will only give you access to the Docuthèque – Intermédiaires section.

To file your application

You must file a duly completed copy of form RE-131, Demande d’autorisation de transmission électronique de documents pour le compte d’un tiers (in French only), with the Registraire des entreprises.
