Initial declaration

All business corporations or non-profit legal persons incorporated in Québec must file an initial declaration after filing their incorporating document with the enterprise register. To fulfill this obligation, you may use the online Produire la déclaration initiale d’une personne morale service.

There is no charge for filing an initial declaration if the filing with the enterprise register occurs within 60 days of registration. Thereafter, the declaration must be accompanied by the requisite late-filing penalty.
