It may therefore take more time to process applications. Priority has been given to the processing of the following applications:

  • Applications related to starting a business made with our online services: registration, constitution, continuance, and amalgamation.
  • All other applications made with our online services.
  • Requests for “certificat d’attestation” and copy of documents.
  • Any application filed on paper for which priority service is requested.
Telephone and email services

Due to the current pandemic situation, Services Québec’s client services for businesses staff had to be reassigned to handle calls directly linked to COVID-19. However, we still offer telephone and email services on a reduced staff basis.

To limit inconveniences, use our online services to file your applications. These services are secure, efficient and readily accessible.

Services Québec offices

The Quebec and Montreal offices remain open; however, to limit the spread of the virus, only payments by cheque, credit card and debit card will be accepted.

Also, in order to comply with social distancing and public hygiene measures, the use of multiservice stations reserved for the online services of the Registraire des entreprises will be prohibited at Services Québec offices.

Note that the Montréal office now closes between 12 and 1 p.m. You can consult the opening hours for the Québec and Montréal offices on the Contact us page.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this situation and we thank you for your understanding. This is an exceptional situation requiring exceptional measures, which will last for an indefinite period of time.
