Instructions to Cancel a Reservation of Name

This free service is intended for anyone who has submitted a name reservation application to the enterprise registrar and wishes to cancel it within 90 days of its confirmation.

You may leave the service at any time and complete the request later. Your data will be preserved for 30 days.

To cancel a reservation of name, you need the confirmation number of the name reservation application.

You may submit your request by means of the Annuler une réservation de nom online service or by sending a letter to the enterprise registrar containing the following information:

  • the confirmation number of the reservation;
  • the name covered by the reservation;
  • the name of the person to be contacted.
