Major Reform of the Companies Act

On October 7, 2009, the Minister of Finance announced a major reform of the Companies Act, as Bill 63, the Business Corporations Act, was tabled in the National Assembly. The bill, which is designed to provide Québec with one of the most modern pieces of legislation in the area of corporation law, affects more than 300,000 businesses.
