Processing of Requests for Amendments to Constituting Documents and Articles of Incorporation

In December 2007, we informed our clients of the measures introduced in order to process the considerable number of requests we had received for amendments to constituting documents and articles of incorporation. The requests were received as a result of the deadline associated with Regulation 45-106 respecting prospectus and registration exemptions.1

Circumstances required that we explore and introduce innovative measures, which included developing a new technology infrastructure and implementing a fast-track process.

We are pleased to inform you that the mass processing of requests for amendments to constituting documents and articles of incorporation is proceeding as planned and that we have begun sending out certificates. Over the coming weeks, we will be able to reduce the backlog of requests received during the intensive period last fall.
